Friends of the Library

The Friends of Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library is an organization made up of volunteers who are interested in promoting and supporting the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. Membership is available to anyone interested in furthering the development of public library service both locally and nationwide.

What do they do?
The Friends of the Library raise funds for projects at the library such as: building or grounds projects, children's story hours, exhibits, performances, etc., as well as to purchase materials that are not within the library's annual budget. They also sponsor programs to promote and enrich the cultural opportunities available to the citizens of Clarksburg and Harrison County.

When do they meet?
The Friends of the Library meet every month. Meetings are open to all members and to the general public. Generally, Friends of the Library meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of the month; however, please check with the library as meeting times are subject to change.
